This build case and innards (without SSD) was prebuilt and
sold at a local computer shop called Geeky's as a basic
gamer’s rig. Discovered that the components were hackintosh
comparable via research, and this build proves it for
definite. I had to get SSD for the Mac partition, which is
my primary partition. I got this machine to do games on
windows partition and render my 3D work on my Mac Partition,
to reduce wear and tear on my Macbook Pro, and also be an
emergency Mac that is usable with my software and tools as
an artist, if anything should happen to my Macbook pro, late
2013 13” since the old 2009 unibody Macbook running OS
Snow-leopard, is not powerful enough my artistic needs, but
runs as a file server/media centre/juke box and analogue/web
TV.
Installation Notes
It updates fine like a Normal Mac from the Apple store from
10.9 to 10.9.5 , and reboots fine like a normal Mac would
do, but the sound drivers (Non HDMI) need to be reinstalled.
Or you can install sound drivers for speakers/mic after the
Apple Store OSX Mavericks update to reduce this time wasted
with this issue. You might have to reformat and install
windows on the windows partition when you get the “BootMNGR
cannot be found” in dual boot.
UEFI Settings
1) To access the UEFI Setup, press the Delete key or F2 on
the keyboard.
2) Set to Optimized Defaults.
3) In advanced settings / CPU/ Disable Intel Virtualization
Technology
4) Save and Exit.
Multibeast Settings.
Select Easybeast, then in Drivers select
Network/AppleRTL8169Ethernet 2.0.6 (This is the onboard
Ethernet, and it is easier to install this instead of
creating a dummy Ethernet, when getting iCloud stuff to work
with WiFi Card)
Post Multibeast Driver Installations
Install main board Audio Drivers install kext
“
[NEW]10.8.5.ALC662.FULLY.WORKING.ML.by.KemalALKIN” using the
app “DPCIMannager”. Just google it and you would get it
directly.
Install WiFi drivers for The card.
IONetworkingFamily.kext , IO80211Family.kext
toteldaARPT.kext
Using “DPCIMannager” makes this task easy.,
